Lost Ark is a free-to-play mmo, there are many different currencies in the game. In this guide, we explain in detail what every currency is, how to recover them and how to use them.

In Lost Ark, most currencies are associated with your player account and not your character. It is mainly for this reason that in our beginner's guide, we advise you to set up several characters.

Silver coins

The silver pieces are the main currency of the game. It can be used for your repairs, for crafts, to move quickly, to improve your equipment and full of other things. You will naturally get by playing, in loot, at the end of quests, in chests, in dungeons, events etc...

The usefulness of silver pieces is vast. It is the currency you will constantly recover on a daily basis.

Gold coins

The gold coins are the currency dedicated to exchanges in Lost Ark. This is undoubtedly the most important currency of the game.

It is mainly used in the sales hotel to acquire objects that other players will sell you but can also be used to increase certain objects for example. The gold coins are a rare and valuable currency in the game. You will only get only during events, dungeons and fixed-term raids. You can also buy it in the shop at stake.

Pheas

Pheas are another exchange currency in Lost Ark serving only tax at the sales hotel when you buy content with gold coins. Pheas can be obtained in exchange for crystals, real money in the shop or during certain punctual events at stake.

Resurrection feathers

The resurrection feathers are a "currency" a little particular that is more like a reward. The only utility of a feather of resurrection is to allow you to... resurrect. It's convenient to come back to life where you are dead and not return to a nearest predefined location.

It is a fairly common currency to get in quests, dungeons, raids and events. Do not spend your time using it wrongly and through however, they can be very useful for bringing you back to life during certain dungeons or raids.

Blue crystals

The blue crystals will mainly be used to buy content in the black market of the shop at stake. You can spend them to buy phenomena, some cosmetics or consumables. That's basically a currency to buy things normally available in real money, but without spending.

It is a very rare currency to get in play. But you can exchange against gold coins or royal crystals to other players.

Royal Crystals

The royal crystals are simply the currency available against real money. You can spend the royal crystals in the game shop to buy a lot of content ranging from skins, mounts, familiar, chests, packs etc...

To get, you will have to spend real money, but you can also get it from gold coins.

FAULT ECLAT

The bursts are solely useful to allow you to access certain particular dungeons. To obtain it, you will need to search for chaos doors that are randomly available events in the game.

Pirate parts

The pirate pieces are a currency used only for the naval content of the game. It serves to improve your ship, recruit new recruits on your ship see sending them fill out naval missions.

Tokens of courage

Courage tokens are the PVP currency of the game. You will necessarily get during your exploits against other players, including arena. They can be used for different content as consumables, exclusive PVP frames or titles in Lost Ark.

Silmael Crystals or Guild Crystals The silmael or guild crystal crystals are a currency allowing you to buy content from the guild NPCs. To get, simply participate in the proposed guild content.

Unlike previous currencies, these unique crystals are linked to your character and not to your account. It is a currency that can be used for the endgame. This currency is used primarily to fill an experience bar of your equipment according to several levels ranging from T1 to T3. Each currency fills a bearing before moving on to the next which requires its own type of crystal. Once the gauge is filled you can finally improve your equipment.
