Who is Adar in Rings of Power?
While the Amazon-derived program is based on Tolkien's source material, there are many original stories that present completely new characters that have been created by show runners for this debut season. This includes a spooky antagonist who seems destined to become the great villain of the series. Here is who is to Adar in rings of power in The Rings of Power or at least what we know about it so far.
Who is Adar in Rings of Power?
The introduction of ADAR serves as the end of suspense of episode 3. It is clear that Adar is the leader of the orcs that have been excavating tunnels in the Middle-earth and destroying Sutherland's peoples, but who is he exactly? Well, the answer is that we really do not know yet, and since the whole story of Adar is completely new for the rings of power, there is no tradition of Tolkien to which we can really resort to provide a specific response.
Even so, we can do some conjectures and deduce who could be Adar. First, let's take a look at the Call of Adar of Amazon for his character before filming began:
A villain who can also evoke a deep feeling of pietism and wounded nobility. He must have a certain degree of physicality. He must seem of medium age, although he must also project a feeling of timelessness.
The aspect of fallen nobility of Adar's character is especially interesting; Could Adar be an elf? These are the noble beings of the Middle Earth, after all, and Wonder has already wondered why the orcs refer to their leader as an elusive word. A rapid review of the online dictionary for Tolkien's languages, for Excellent_, explains that Adar is Mandarin for father. Could it be that Adar is a fallen elf who has become dark and now has gathered the orcs in a search to restore Sauron's evil? It seems very likely.
Could it be that Adar is even Sauron himself? Possibly, but it seems unlikely that The Rings of Power reveals to its most anticipated evil villain in which the entire show turns as soon. On the other hand, our main theory is that Adar is a kind of henchman who intends to restore the dark Lord for his own benefit or revenge.
We will have to wait and see how the show develops.
