The director of Amazon Games leaves his position
The director of Amazon Game Studios, Mike Frazzini, has left his position in the American company.
According to Bloomberg, Frazzini would have explained to his team that he left the position to "focus on his family". The manager has not yet issued a statement announcing this decision.
Ryan Jones, an Amazon spokesman, said that "Mike was from the beginning at Amazon Games, and the leadership and perseverance of him helped create the business in videogames from scratch."
"Our recent success with New World and Lost Ark is the result of the long-term vision and centered on the consumer that he helped establish, we are very grateful for all the contributions of him, and we wish Mike the best."
However, an old Amazon Games manager who wanted to maintain anonymity said that because Frazzini was an Amazon internal employee without direct experience in the videogame industry, "his leadership of the division suffered for it."
Meanwhile, Amazon Games Studios and Smilegate are assessing the option of creating a Port for Consoles of the Successful Lost Ark. Responsible for the franchise, Somin Park, declared this week that "If Lost Ark in consoles is something that fans really want, I think it's something that both parties could consider", in reference to Amazon and SMILEGATE.
